WallByrd Theatre Company presents J.M. Barrie’s Dear Brutus April 30-May 10 at the Avyarium Theatre in Rochester NY.

SYNOPSIS

In the summer of 1917, eight strangers are invited to a country estate and treated to an evening of secrets, surprises, and intriguing tales of midsummer madness.  When a mysterious woods springs up outside the sitting room window, the guests become seduced by a magic that could grant their innermost desires.  But wishes are dangerous things, and the company soon finds themselves drowning in a sea of possibilities; lost and unable to find a way back to where (and who) they were before.

From J. M. Barrie, the celebrated author of Peter Pan, comes a haunting and whimsical adult fairy-tale about the regrets we carry, the desires we berry, and how easily we can lose who we are in the dreams we cling too.
